I was able to sync my M705 wireless mouse and K250 keyboard to the M570's USB adapter.
The Unifying program walks you through a set of simple steps to sync your Logitech keyboards or mice. The two sets of download options available include Logitech's Unifying Software that enables you to connect up to 6 compatible wireless devices on one USB. However, for those who want to fine tune the M570's settings to enhance their navigating or gaming experience, Logitech has easy to download software from their webpage. Users have the option of simply using this mouse out of the box with no CD or software install. One of Logitech's great features with the M570 is the plug and play experience. I could lend this minor discrepancy to my tiny, girly-hands, but still something for the small-handed to note. I could just barely touch the scroll wheel and the designated browser buttons were just out of reach. It measures in at 1.7 by 3.7 by 5.7-inches (HWD), and the only issue I had with the M570 was with its size. The M570 is a little bulky, but it has to be to support the trackball. Also on the underside of the device is the on/off switch and a place for the AA battery (included) to power the M570 that also doubles as a holding place for the thumbnail USB wireless adapter. The M570 weighs a light 4.8 ounces pounds, but held firmly in place even in my most intense gaming moments, by the four rubber stoppers for resistance. To the right of the mouse buttons are back and forward browser buttons, for quick and easy internet navigation. In between the two mouse buttons is a rubbery scroll wheel that I found to be too resistant for my tastes, compared to that of the smoother metallic and plastic scroll wheel of the M705. The structure of the device was comfortable, and the way my hand curved around its body felt natural. The design is modest and not overly loud like most gaming mice and desktops tend to be.
The M570 has a dark grey, matte finish contrasted by the bold marble-looking blue trackball. Its only faults are in its poorly placed browser buttons and scroll wheel. This advanced navigating peripheral allows users the option of simple plug-and-play activation or stepping up their gaming experience with downloadable software. Logitech has introduced a new wireless trackball solution (via USB adapter) into this underrepresented category of computer mice, the M570 ($59.99 direct). The classic trackball mouse belongs to a niche crowd, but after using one, it's hard to go back to the more mainstream point-and-click method of navigation.
